Quiz Night - 9th November

Our Annual November Quiz Night was once again very well attended with 41 members and friends battling it out for top honours. Originally the brainchild of the late Frank and Ali Odds, the quiz has been running for a number of years and this year the avid quizzers had a number of tricky questions to answer, set over 5 rounds by our friend and quizmaster Steve Cromer from the Grampian Region Jaguar Enthusiasts Club. 

In the break halfway through the quiz, a magnificent hot buffet was served by the staff at Kippie Lodge and suitably refreshed, the teams re-grouped for the final couple of rounds.     

It was very close throughout with a number of teams running neck and neck after each round, but in the end team ‘Top Table’ emerged victorious by just 1 point, thus narrowly avoiding a tie break! The spoils of victory was a bottle of wine for each team member and all quizzers were treated, as has become the tradition, to a bar of chocolate!

Special thanks to our quizmaster Steve for the mind-boggling questions, the staff at Kippie who looked after us extremely well and John and Jill Chessor who did the shopping run to purchase the prizes and chocolate bars!
