Loch Insch Classic Car Drive In - August 27

Every Thursday evening from 17:30 to 21:00 through to the end of September, the Loch Insch Fishery are hosting a Classic Car Drive In. Set in the picturesque grounds of the fishery, the venue offers uninterrupted views across the stunning fishing lochs to Bennachie and beyond.

One or two club members had visited earlier in August and on their recommendation, we suggested a club visit to all members on August 27th.

On the day, 11 cars / 19 people met at The Loch Insch Fishery & Touring Park dipping in and out during the evening. They were treated to swans on the Loch as well as an osprey which landed on the tree on the edge of the Loch. 

The on site café had a good selection food as you can see by the menu below. Some sat in the café or on the tables and benches on the Lochside, but all agreed it was a fabulous venue to spend a relaxing evening meeting like minded people.

As mentioned, these events are scheduled to continue until the end of September and hopefully will be repeated next year.
