Bon Accord Annual Steam and Vintage Fair

To quote a well known headline from 1976, "Phew, what a scorcher!". 

Scotland’s Largest Steam and Vintage Fair took place on June 17th and 18th 2023 in the grounds of the magnificent NTS Castle Fraser. The event included steam engines, vintage tractors, vintage and classic cars, working exhibits, commercial vehicles, stationary engines, military vehicles, models and miniature steam.....and much more.

Since 2023 is the centenary of MG cars, the club was very generously given free entry to the event by the Chairman of the Bob Accord Steam Engine Club - Jamie Blair - and 14 MGs of various types were proudly displayed on the Club stand, many of us meeting beforehand at Marshall's Farm Shop on the A96 so that we could all arrive together.

Although the event was held over the whole weekend, the majority of members attended on the Sunday but were nonetheless treated to a fantastic day with plenty to see and do. The stunning weather obviously attracted large crowds and plenty of sun block was required!
