26th June 2021 - Full Throttle Cars and Coffee

Despite the weather being overcast (but warm), a large number of cars (including many MGOC members) attended the Cars and Coffee event at Castle Fraser which was organised by 'Full Throttle'.

The format was very simple - just turn up, park in the field, wander round, look at the cars, have a chat with friends and have a coffee and a bacon roll.  Mind you, having said that, by the time we got to the front of the queue at the tea room they had run out of bacon rolls...but the cakes were fab!  There was no entry fee, but there were donation buckets dotted around the field in aid of the Save Our Scotland campaign which is designed to help NTS properties get back on their feet again after the devastation caused by the pandemic.  They managed to raise just shy of £250.
